Visual Arts Department at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Each semester, the Visual Arts Department produces a series of zines that are printed and distributed to students.

Objective

Creatively follow the theme of "Contrast." Design a small booklet using limited resources (the design should fit on letter-sized paper). Include cultural elements and showcase different countries around the world. Use limited text with straightforward design and illustration.

What is a Zine?

A zine is a self-published booklet, often made by individuals or small groups. It typically features niche topics with unique, creative designs, and is printed on a single folded sheet of paper.
